Introduce professionals to the participatory planning approach and tools
Throughout our pilot projects, we have developed professional development workshops and curriculum. We can offer these workshops in your community, either working directly with a municipality, professional association or consultancy, or (if you’re interested in building capacity to do professional development workshops on your own) our partners have experience using a train-the-trainer approach. Our hope is to see the principles of participatory planning reflected in professional practice. Sharing our knowledge and approaches can help build awareness and literacy around participatory planning as a mechanism for meaningful community engagement.
