Description

Making the case for building healthy places: new research, original designs and provincial policy recommendations. We're excited to explore what policy change can look like, and how it can reflect a citizen-based mandate.

What makes this tool valuable?

The overarching goal of this report: that all new infrastructure projects demonstrate how they support healthy and equitable communities.  It provides recommendations across 8 focus areas, including transportation, health, seniors' housing, affordable housing,  environment, tourism, education and infrastructure.  Recommendations will be developed further at a multi-stakeholder event in the fall of 2019, led by Sustainable Calgary.
